Corium® TEX

It’s magic!

Corium® TEX technology can be seen as an evolution of the cowhide industry. Chrome-tanned leather scraps are recycled into “Leather wool” – yes, it’s kind of magical – and polyester filaments are married in an innovative process to create our corium tex recycled leather base, which approaches the real skin like no other technology.
Corium® TEX is very ductile and is highly appreciated for its full-bodied and soft hand.
The material is characterized by high durability, elasticity, excellent tear resistance and a pasty and soft hand.
What makes this material so special is that it contains 75% of leather wastage, 22% recycled PET and 3% nylon.
It is produced with 90% less water than conventional leather and with out any bonding agents.
